ScoreDog respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how ScoreDog handles information when you use the ScoreDog mobile and Apple Watch applications.
Health and Biometric Data
With your permission, ScoreDog may access health and biometric information through Apple HealthKit to provide features related to your matches and activity.
Health and biometric data accessed by ScoreDog is processed on your device. ScoreDog does not upload this data to our servers, sell it, use it for advertising or marketing, or share it with third parties.
Your health information remains under the control of Apple Health and the permissions you grant to ScoreDog. You can review or revoke ScoreDog's access to Health data at any time through your device's Health or privacy settings.
ScoreDog does not use HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, data mining, or user profiling.
Match Data
ScoreDog stores information about matches you record, such as scores, points, match statistics, participants, and match history.
Depending on the features you use, match information may be stored locally on your device or on the cloud.
If you choose to share or import a match, the information necessary to provide that feature may be processed for that purpose.
Playtomic Imports
ScoreDog allows you to import match information that you choose to share from Playtomic. ScoreDog only processes the information provided as part of the import in order to create or update the corresponding match in ScoreDog.

Analytics and Diagnostics
ScoreDog uses analytics and diagnostic services, including PostHog, to understand how the app is used, identify problems, and improve features and performance.
Analytics information may include interactions with app features, screens viewed, app version, device and operating-system information, event timestamps, and technical diagnostic information.
When an imported match cannot be processed correctly, ScoreDog may send diagnostic information to PostHog, including error details, stack traces, and the imported match data that caused the error. This information is used to identify changes, compatibility issues, and edge cases in supported import formats.
ScoreDog does not send Apple Health or biometric data to PostHog.
Analytics and diagnostic information is used to operate and improve ScoreDog and is not used by ScoreDog for third-party advertising.
Subscriptions and Purchases
ScoreDog offers optional paid subscriptions. Purchases made through the App Store are processed by Apple.
ScoreDog may use a third-party subscription management service to determine your subscription status and manage access to paid features. Payment card information is not provided directly to ScoreDog.
Data Sharing
ScoreDog does not sell your personal information.
Health and biometric information accessed through Apple HealthKit is not shared with third parties.
Other information is only shared with service providers where necessary to operate features of ScoreDog, subject to their respective privacy and security practices.
Data Retention
Data stored locally remains on your device until it is removed through the app, the app is deleted, or otherwise removed through the applicable operating-system controls.
Information stored using cloud services may be retained as necessary to provide ScoreDog's features and may be subject to the retention practices of those services.
Children's Privacy
ScoreDog is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your Choices
You can control ScoreDog's access to Apple Health data through your device settings. You may continue to use features that do not require Health access without granting Health permissions.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as ScoreDog develops. Any changes will be published on this page with an updated revision date.
